Company Policies

Turnaround Times

Our standard turn around time for screen printing (bulk orders) and embroidery is two weeks. However, if you have a job that must be completed by a certain date & time, please make sure we are aware of your specific deadline requirements from the start of the order. Rush jobs may result in additional fees.

Turnaround Times does not start until payment has been received and mockup has been approved. Shipping times is not included in the turnaround time. 

Art Preparation Policy

We allow a half hour of free artwork preparation time with each order. If your design requires more than 30 minutes of work, the additional charge is $25.00 per hour. 

Mockups

You will receive a mockup to approve after full payment. Often times our customers want a mockup before they are able to place an order. For example, you may need a mockup for a pre-sale or fundraiser. One can be provided for $25, which will be applied to your order once the order placed. You are responsible for identifying any errors in the mockup. Your first 2 revisions are free. There is a $20 fee for each additional revision. You assume responsibility for all color, sizes, and typographical errors that you approve in your mockup. 

*We try to display as accurately as possible the colors that will be used in your final product. Unfortunately, the actual colors You see will depend on Your monitor, and we do not guarantee that Your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Thus, the Company takes no responsibility whatsoever for any variances between the appearance of colors or graphics displayed on Your monitor and any finished Product.

Custom Transfers and Full Color Designs

Our custom transfers and full color designs printed in CMYK color code. When providing artwork for these projects, the artwork needs to be submitted as CMYK to ensure that your colors will not shift when converted. If you are unsure of what this is, make sure to ask your graphic design artist to provide your artwork/design/logo in CMYK otherwise the colors will most likely be different if printed from the artwork that is in RGB. Ink Scale Printing will not replace items printed incorrectly due to a color shift. 

Customer Supplied Garments

At Ink Scale Printing, we prefer to work on garments and items obtained from our suppliers. The items from our vendors are made to withstand high heat, pressure and other treatments needed for production. In addition, there is a risk that printer and human errors will occur. Ink Scale Printing is not responsible for replacement/reimbursement should customer supplied items become damaged in the printing or embroidery process. Your product(s) is/are your responsibility and left at your own risk. Customer supplied garments cannot be guaranteed in any way. In the event of an error or damage to the item, we will not be able to replace the item, reimburse you for the item's value nor issue a refund for any materials used or time spent on the project. This is why we prefer to work on garments from our suppliers that Big Frog knows will work for your needs and may be easily replaced should a production error occur.

Order Refunds, Misprints, and Shortages

Customized items cannot be refunded. If your final product is different from what you approved, you must let us know within 24 hours of receiving your item in order to qualify for an order reproduction. We will redo any errors in your order after receipt of unused misprinted items. Claims of shortages must be made before leaving the store or within 12 hours of receipt by mail. No exceptions. 

Order Changes/Cancellation

Immediately following your order placement, we purchase the  blank goods for your order from one of our several wholesale resources and begin the artwork. Changes to your order may result in extra charges. You may not cancel your order after payment. You may able to receive a store credit. 

Product Samples

Often customers will want to see a sample item first before they purchase a large order of custom screen printed. However, due to the extensive setup process of screen printing, we are unable to provide one screen printed shirt.  We do have blank samples of imprintable items available to view in our showroom. This will give you an idea of the feel and sizing.  

Two-Day Policy 

Fast and effective communication is key here at Ink Scale Printing. If there is a two-day lapse in communication before your order is approved, we may close your order and charge a $25 service fee to reopen it. 

Shipping Policy 

The price of shipping is not included in estimates. Please notify us if shipping is needed. Shipping time is separate from our turnaround time. Once the shipment is handed over to the carrier, we cannot guarantee timeliness or exact delivery dates. shipping times from our facility are from Zip Code 28206. 

Shirt Variation

Because are a manual shop, you may notice some minor placement variations between your items. Each item is printed one at a time, which means that the design placement may vary slightly between shirts. . While we can’t guarantee exact placement on every shirt every time, we will absolutely try our best and hold ourselves to the same high quality standards we usually do.

Out of Stocks/Back Orders

There is a chance that vendors will run out of particular item, style or colors. If this happens we can offer a variety of possible substitute products from other vendors, or you can choose to wait until the items are back in stock. If you choose to wait for the inventory to be replenished then we cannot guarantee the turnaround time or that the items will be back in stock when the vendor says they will. If you choose a substitute garment then we should be able to stick to our typical turnaround time unless those garments are out-of-stock as well 

Manufacturer Delay

Ink Scale Printing will make reasonable efforts to have goods delivered to the Purchaser on the date agreed, but Ink Scale Printing shall be under no liability should delivery not be made on or within a reasonable period of such date due to circumstances outside of the Ink Scale Printing's control. 

User Subjectivity/Refund Policy

Ink Scale Printing stands behind the quality of our work. We will reproduce your graphic onto the garment with maximum accuracy, quality, and consistency. The satisfaction of the end user with the final printed product is subjective. We offer detailed mock ups (approval by the client is mandatory for every order) for end user review. We operate under very specific and numerous quality controls, standard operating procedures, and guidelines to ensure a quality finished product, we will not be held responsible for end user subjectivity. 

Garment Selection 

We expect our customers to do the research on garments before placing an order with us, even if we select the garment for the order.  You have the ability to order samples of the garments before placing an order. Mockups of the shirt may vary from physical.  When the final order is received, we cannot guarantee that the customer will like the garments they chose. We cannot guarantee sizes or fit.  We do guarantee print quality at all times. Subjectivity, or whether or not the customer likes the garment they chose is the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for knowing the terms of the company whose garments they chose to purchase.

Manufacturer Defects

Ink Scale Printing is not responsible for mistakes or defects on behalf of the manufacturer or distributor: mislabeled sizes, inconsistent coloring, dye lots, manufacturer garment defects, etc. All garments will be counted in bulk (dozens, or however they are packaged by the manufacturer). We cannot inspect each garment. It is highly recommended to order more garments than needed for each size. All additional garments will be included in the print run and we will bill for what is printed.

Reorders

Due to the nature of our business, we cannot guarantee exact ink color matches on reorders. We will make every effort to match the original color as best as possible. If you know a reorder will be likely, please let us know and we’ll try to keep ink on hand if at all possible.
