ORDERING ⌄


Q: How is pricing determined?

A: Our pricing is based on the type of garments you choose, how many colors in the design, and how many locations you need.  

All garments with the same exact design and colors are treated as the same order.

If you are looking to cut the prices of your shirt, you may want to consider lowering the number of colors in your design or picking a light colored shirt 

Q: How can I get a quote?

Q: Do you have a minimum order?

A: The minimum for screen printing order is 10 garments.  There is no minimum for vinyl and photo printing.  

Q: What is your turnaround time?

A: Our standard turnaround time is between 3-14 business days, depending on the complexity of your order. Please be aware that this time start after we receive your payment and your order approval form. 

We do have Express Services available for less than 3 business days, please contact us to see if your order qualifies!

 

Q: How will my order be shipped?

A: Most orders that go through our shop are pickup or drop off orders. Other items are shipped through United States Postal Service. USPS First Class Mail takes 2-9 business days to arrive; Priority Mail: 2-3 business days. Prices are based on weight of order. 

 Q: When do I pay, and what methods of payment do you accept?

A: A full payment is required to begin your order. You’re welcome to pay online via Paypal (paypal.me/inkscale) or CashApp ($Inkscale), which also includes credit and debit options.  In person, we accept cash, business checks and credit cards.

Q: What is your reorder policy?

A: We will waive the screen fee if your re-order within 14 days of pick-up. If your initial order was a bulk order (more than 10 shirts of the exact same design), you must order atleast 10 shirts at once and within 7 days to receive your shirts at your original price. After that time period, a set-up fee is required and your prices will be based on quantity.

 Q: Can I add shirts or change shirts sizes once my order has been placed?

A: Yes, you can add on or change shirt sizes once your order has been placed. We order your shirts the moment that your approve your order. Adding shirts or changing sizes may come with an additional fee. If you need to change your order, please contact us right away.

 Q: Can I bring my own garments in?

A: Yes, we can screen print, heat press vinyl, and print photo t-shirts on customer-provided garments. Please note, that any garments that experiences a printer's error will be replaced by one of our garments

 Q: What if I cancel my order?

If we have already ordered your garments, you will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee, as we have to pay to return them.

If we have already completed your artwork and screens, you would be responsible for a $30 art fee to compensate our designers for their time.

Q: What kind of artwork should I send over with my order?

A: In most cases, vector art is the best to send us. However, we also accept high-resolution .pdf, .png, and .jpeg files. 

We are able to work with most anything, though, even hand-drawn sketches. There may be art fees associated with converting artwork into usable files.

 Q: Is there a fee for you to create a design for me?

A: We are more than happy to create a design for you at a price of $10 per design. This will be credited to your account should you place an order with us.

Q: Can I see my design before I place an order?

A:  If you would like to see a design before placing an order, we charge a $25 mockup fee, you can think of this as a deposit toward your order. When you place your order, that $25 is applied to your order’s balance. If you end up not going through with an order, we do keep the $25 to compensate our designers for their time.

 

Q: What if I don’t want a mockup? Will I see a proof before you print?

A: Once you place an order and pay a deposit, we begin working on your artwork. We always send a proof, you are able to make any changes you’d like, and we do not print without your full approval.

 

Q: Can you print me a sample shirt?

A: We do not print individual sample shirts. We always send a digital proof, though.

 

Q: Can I get the same design printed on different color shirts?

A: Yes, as long as your design stays the same color, size and location, there are no additional fees to change the colors of the garments.

 

Q: Can I get the same design in different ink colors on my garments?

A: Yes, we can change the ink color(s) of the design as many times as you would like, but there is a $10 ink change fee per screen and each time we change the color.

 

Q: Can I get the same design printed on different kinds or sizes of garments, like hoodies and t-shirts, or Youth and Adult?

A: Yes, as long as the setup is the same for us, there is no extra charge for this. Pants and shirts would be different setups, but a Front and Back of a shirt would most likely be the same.

Something to keep in mind is that we are only set up to print one size of the artwork, so for Youth and Adult shirts, we would have to print a size of the design that fits on all garments. You can make different sizes of the art for Youth and Adult, but you would be charged $30 per screen for the extra setup. This may also apply to pocket hoodies.

Q: What is the maximum print size for a t-shirt?

A: The maximum size for art is 12.5 x 14.5”. We do have an oversize option of 12.5 x 17.5” available for a 10% upcharge.

 

Q: How closely can you match your ink to the color that I want?

A: We can happily provide you with a color card that shows our standard ink colors. In most cases you will probably find a color that is close to what you have in mind.  

Q: Can you do 4-color (CMYK) process printing?

A: Yes, we can! If you are considering a 4-color process design, please contact us to discuss your needs.

 

Q: Can you print over a zipper?

A: We don’t recommend it. Yes, we can, though the print may get muddy over the seams. If you want the print to be perfect, we would try to revise your artwork to avoid the zipper.

 Q: Can I get screen printing and vinyl on the same garment?

A: Yes, though the turnaround time would be a bit longer.

Q: Where can I see a sizing chart for my garment?

A: You can always research a size chart, or if you know the garment style number, you can find the size specs for your garment by visiting a suppliers’ website like SSActivewear, Sanmar, and Alphabroder.

Q: Do you offer Youth / Infant / Big & Tall sizes?

A: Many products are available in a wide range of sizes, but usually in a more limited color palette for the specialty sizes. If we can’t find something from our usual vendors, we can special order certain products for you.

Keep in mind that smaller size shirts may require that your art be reduced to fit. You may also choose to have a Youth-sized and an Adult-sized version of your artwork, but this would incur additional setup fees.

 Q: Can you get different brands than the ones shown?

A: Let us know what you are looking for and we’ll try our best. Other companies such as American Apparel, Canvas, Jerzees, Fruit of the Loom, and Anvil produce a variety of T-shirts and fleece wear. There are also many brands and styles of sport shirts available.

 Q: How long will the design stay on the shirt?

A: Screen printing will last the life of the shirt, and will likely show wear and fading as with the garment.  Heat Transfer Vinyl and photo t-shirts durability will depend on the care of the shirt.

Q: How is pricing determined?

A: Pricing for vinyl is based on the amount of colors. A intricate, highly detailed design may be subject to higher fees. Pricing for Photo shirts depends on the size of the image. 

Q: Do you have a minimum order?

A: No, in fact vinyl and photos are perfect for small, simple orders, as it is much more cost effective.

Q: What is your turnaround time?

A: These jobs are scheduled in our 3-5 business day timeframe,we can probably get it done quicker depending on where your garments are getting shipped from. 

Q: Do you put names and numbers on shirts?

A: Yes!

Q: Can you put my photograph on a shirt?

A: Yes, we can! We will need the highest resolution possible of the photograph you’re wanting on a t-shirt, the better the quality, the better your shirt will look!

Q: Will I see a proof before my shirt is made?

A: Yes! We always email a proof, and do not proceed without your approval.
